track layout software
Posted by BlueComet400 on Friday, January 9, 2015 11:14 AM

Good afternoon,

I'm new to the forum but have been a long-time collector / operator. I'm looking for a user-friendly software program to design my layout, which will have both O and Standard Gauges. Any opinions on the various plans out there would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Welcome to the forum.

I used RR-Track Software Windows  I'm not sure I would call it super user friendly, but if you practice playing with it to discover all the features, it is really accurate laying out sectional track.  I would draw something I liked and then save it, then erase a portion and try something different.  Here is what I worked off of, albeit there are a few minor changes.
