Is there a trick to getting the powered truck out of the frame without removing rivets? The lamp bracket is in the way. I have no riveting skills at the moment but might have to learn very soon.

You shouldn't have rivets there should be a screw on the under side of the power truck that goes up into the motor which free's up the motor from the truck and you can remove them. The rear also should be the same now the E-unit is riveted to the frame

I suppose you could just unscrew the motor truck pivot bracket. There should be two screws, one on each side, on the walkway.
