Wow - Mr Muffin's Trains in October CTT
Posted by Frank53 on Monday, August 18, 2014 10:50 PM

Just received my advance copy of the October CTT and saw the feature on Steve and Liz Nelson's layout and shop - Mr Muffin's in Indiana. I've enjoyed seeing their various layouts over the years and the shared interest he and "Mrs Muffin" enjoy.

Also Christopher2035 is featured with his post war layout and his family.

Great job CTT in snagging these two features.

Oh, and I've got a two page "how-to" in there too . . . Wink

I certainly enjoyed the look at their layout - and your how-tos...

Mine should probably arrive before October, I'll take a look when it comes.

Super nice people and very talented. Seems they can put together a layout in record time, regardless of size. Great job by CTT of grabbing that story and a great presentation of their layout.

I had the pleasure of visiting this layout during the LCCA convention last month. It is a very nice looking layout that was presented by some very nice hosts. To top it off, they had a hot dog cart out front that served one of the better dogs I've ever had.

To me, the bridges on this layout are the best part:

I finally got to read the article. I am kinda disappointed that they only showed a bit of this station (picture 9 in the spread I think):

This would easily be the highlight of most layouts I have seen. It's pretty nice on this one as well, but there is so much other neat stuff that it's just kinda there.
