info please on Louis Marx streamline no 7844 train set
Posted by Larry A on Saturday, August 16, 2014 4:39 PM

this train set  was my dads as a boy. I believe he got it around the late 1930s or early 1940s.Do you know when Marx began producing this line? Its a passenger train with 3 cars and engine , also track and transformer. Still works in original box. No rust or scratched paint. Does have a lot of dust and I have not tried to clean it. I was wondering about the possible value. THANKS

No replies so I will try

Best I can find they were made at various times from 1936 to 52. Someone would have to see the set to narrow the time frame. As for price the last price book issued had the set under a hundred but as always it depends on what someone is willing to pay.

Larry A, Can you post a picture of it? I think I have one in my collection.
