Hi....
I want to separate my layout in half with a backdrop. Can anyone suggest or tell me the best way to attach the backdrop to my table. My table is 1" foam and I'm planning to use 3/16" foam board for the backdrop. Thank you all in advance for any help or suggestions offered.

What is under the foam? Assuming there is some kind of framing under it, I would think that just slicing a 1/4" trench through it, and letting the backdrop rest on the framing would be adequate if it isn't too tall. If the backdrop is a bit wobbly, perhaps driving a few shims on each side would hold it tighter.
If it is too tall, or there isn't anything beneath the foam where the backdrop will go, perhaps adding a few building fronts to each side of the backdrop would keep it propped up. If the fronts were secured well enough to the backdrop, you would still be able to remove it (maybe without damaging anything) if you need access to a part of the layout.
I've never used a backdrop before so all this is guesswork. Hopefully these ideas help you figure out what will work for you.
