I've been meaning to join this forum for a while, but never got around to doing it. I'm active on some of the other forums, so some of you guys may know me. For those who don't, I'm 34 & have been into trains since I was 2. My main focus these days has been postwar Lionel. At one time I was into Hi Rail stuff, but that old postwar bug was always tugging at me! When I moved from NJ to Charlotte, I wound up w/ no basement at our new house, so I decided to downsize & use a spare room for a layout. This led me to rediscover postwar. My 2 kids Lucia & Lorenzo also love all the accessories & colorful trains too. I currently have a postwar inspired display layout which is built to bring to mind the great Lionel displays of the mid 1950's. This forum seems to be a bit more focused on the classic Lionel stuff which is what I love.
Looking forward to posting some more.
Chris

Welcome aboard Chris! When I moved to Virginia from New Jersey the house Lady Firestorm and I purchased didn't have a basement either. I didn't care at the time, but I could sure use one now!
No matter, the "Chugger Barn" is the back yard is adequate. For now.

Welcome!
Good to see you over here, Christopher! I've long admired your postings on "that other forum". I, too, have a love of postwar, and some new stuff. I think you may inspire me to post a photo of my 5 x 9 layout.

Christopher2035,
So this is where you snuck off to. You were in the right church, but the wrong pew.
To The Forums.
I bounce around.
