With all but my little Hafner 1010 wind up locomotive and a few cars, packed away for our upcoming move, I wasn't going to do a layout or even a tree this year. I couldn't stand the thought of a Christmas without a Train so decided to put the little Hafner and odds & ends that weren't packed away on a small tinplate Christmas layout. A small layout calls for a small tree..... If you look close, you can see it in B-9's right pincer(hand).
Merry Christmas!

Dave,
Love the picture and layout. Just goes to show you can put a train just about anywhere.
Keep on training,

(laughs delightedly) You know, this has to be my favorite Christmas layout so far this year! Bravissimo!
Mitch
Thanks Mike & Mitch.
The layout was an off the cuff event. SWMBO is away visiting the grandkids for Christmas & I'm keeping the home fire burning as well as caring for and feeding SWMBO's 5 little doggies. Wasn't going to do anything as far as decorating, putting up a tree or layout. but realised I was being pretty Scrooge-ish...
So the layout sort of directed its own creation...
I'm pretty sure there's a deep philosophical message hidden in the photo. If anyone recognises it, please let me know!
Merry Christmas & Happy Rails!

Got it! "Manger! Manger, Will Robinson!"
I was thinking "Crush! Kill! Destroy!" myself.
