I'll be going along with Sandy. Looking forward to seeing you all and attending the OGR meeting on Friday.[C):-)]

Any tips for a first time York meet. Suggestions for: parking, traffic. etc. Which halls are best to look for postwar or Standard items vs. the manufacture displays.

I was told that it is so large that if you see something you like, buyit as it might be hours before you get back.

I would like to go Mr Zimmer, but from Mesa Arizona it is a big and expensive trip. I would enjoy meeting you as you are somewhat of a Celebrity in reverse on another forum and I am sometime likened to you over there.

Mr. Cameron, thank you for your kind words. I would like to meet you also. I know that you sell some very nice trolleys. Don't let those people on the OGR forum run you off like they did me and tell lies about you. A few of the OGR apologists have come over here and tried to stir up trouble but I don't pay any attention to them. You have a long and honorable background that deserves respect and I know that you are going through the same thing like I did. Just keep the faith![:)]

Thank you again. I have read some terrible things about you over there.as I have read the same about me. I made the mistake of mentioning that I am a Born Again Christian
and a cinservative on Politics and that is a definite no no over there.

Elvisp, if you haven't seen it, this web page should help answer some of your questions:

The blue, silver, red, and white halls are where you will find most of the postwar/Standard Gauge items. Don't worry about parking, this will be my 5th time there and I've never had a problem. With rain predicted this week the parking areas may be muddy, however. I agree with what you were told about buying what you like as soon as you see it, with one caveat: prices vary widely among sellers on both vintage and new stuff. I would say that if you see it, like it, and it seems like a fair price to you, then go for it.

Most of all, have fun! If you don't find it this time, there's always the next meet.
