Hello, newbie in the house!
Posted by prr4909 on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 2:56 PM

Hello to you all,

I'm new to this forum but not new to O gauge.  I have an 18 x 8 3R layout in my basement.  I've been in to trains since 1955 and O gauge since 1987.

You guys and gals seem to cover a lot of ground in this forum and I'm always willing to learn new things.

I worked for 5 years in a Lionel repair shop on Long Island, so maybe I can share some things too.

I'll post some pics of my layout when I figure out the nuts and bolts of this site and when (or if) I get accepted by the moderator.

Gowan!  Beat it!  Get outa heah!  You're not wanted!

Only kidding!  Always wanted to do that.

Welcome to the forum et.al.  Aside from being kinda quiet this a pretty good forum.  Bob Nelson alone is worth his weight in electrons.

Welcome    Aboard.

Lots of guys and gals here from all over with different backgrounds but all sharing their 'luv' for the hobby.

I'm in Orlando, a now permanent "snowbird" from the Bronx.  Spent around 50 years in "HO" and into "O" seriously for a few years. They are always here to help and I have learned so much.

Looking foward to your posts and, again, welcome aboard.
