Thought I would post some pictures of my favorite Pool Hall....
Sloopy Shots, has only 1 table (scratch built by Chris), there is always a Tournament going on, and usually a different Champion every day.
Rumor has it that some renovation is going to occur. A&W has purchased some space and will be putting in a Root Beer Stand. Possibly between Sloopy Shots and the Dance Hall.

York was great and I picked up both prewar and postwar items. This was something I never had, nor intended on buying, but the seller was great and gave me a great price. I just wired it up this morning and it works and looks perfect.

Something a bit more rare was the Bing Baggage car I bought. Not knowing much about Bing I had to do some research and found that this was made sometime in the 1920's.

Recently went to Vegas to play in a Masters event. Here is a picture of my RR pool hall. It was a gift for christmas from my son and daughter in law. Would like to see a picture of the pool table you made.

"Oh we got trouble, BIG BIG trouble!"
"With a capital T and that rhymes with P and that stands for POOL!!!"
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Say, anybody got any spare copies of "Cap'n Billys Whiz-Bang"?

Nothing is more fairly distributed than common sense: no one thinks he needs more of it than he already has.

Unfortunately Pool has taken a bad rap for some of the locations a table is located. The mentioned song is an indication of the bad perception it has gained.
It was once a highly respected sport with the best rivaling in salary with any sport in this country back in the early part of the last century. Ralph Greenleaf made as much as Babe Ruth in his heyday.
Having played the sport for many years I have found that most of the participants who have any skill are very respectful of another"s ability. It is an extremely difficult game to master and does not get the recognition it deserves in this country. In other countries it is quite different.
