I would check on E Bay. Sometimes there are some new old stock or a good used one available.
Seems to be a difference in the roof and the mounting would be in question. Otherwise the bodies do look similar.
When I service a piece with a reversing slide, such as a trolley or gang car, there is usually old, dried grease on the contacts and in the slide channel.I clean out all the old grease, and paint a little Neolube on the physical contact area of the slide channel, and on the bottom of the slide. I either leave the contacts clean, or put a little Neolube or Caig Moving Contact Lubricant on them.
Real quick question. I purchased the Holly Jolly shell and it has two led lights that are wired together. Can I just cut the red wire in half and run a lead to where the old light attaches and the same with the black and ground it to the frame? Again it's a postwar #60 trolley with the new shell. Thanks.
Probably not. This is outside my expertise, so wait for a more definitive answer.
I think you will need a resistor and maybe a diode.
The common postwar bumper is the #260. Most were made of cast metal, but towards the very end of the postwar era they were made in plastic. Less common is the #26 bumper. In the modern era Lionel continued making the cast metal bumpers, I don't know the stock number.They may still make them.
