Is anyone out there running Ross track and switches? Looks nice was looking for feed back.

I have some Ross Custom Switches. They are very smooth and reliable. You won't go wrong with them. I would encourage you to go ahaed and get the molded roadbed and the switch machines that they offer also. This enhances the besic product alot, I think.

We use Ross Custom track and switches for our layout.  Looks fantastic and has been reliable since installation over ten years ago.

Both postwar and modern era locos and rolling stock work great.  We use Ross O-31 curves.

I didn't know about the molded roadbed and switch machines that George mentions.  Probably not available back when we built the layout. 

I used Tortoise switch machines for our turnouts.  And sort of ballasted under the track with Arizona Rock & Mineral ballast.  I have to look into the roadbed product as it sounds very interesting.

I have used Ross Track and Switches on my layout since 2006, no problems or issues with either.  (I have 25 switches, including a 3 -way, Y-s, 11 deg, 72", 54", 31", both straight and curved.)  Reasons I prefer Ross;

  - Reliability, I haven't had any problems at all, didn't expect any from previous experience and review.

  - Selection, They have the largest variation of switch configurations of anyone!  The 11 degree switches are fantastic for cross-overs, you can have the tracks really close if needed.

  - Appearance, very realistic, and lots of alternatives with types and placement of switch motors.

 - Price, EXTREMELY competitive!

- Support, Ross is extremely helpful as well!  And really stand behind their product!
