CTT TCA York Buttons and Stickers
Posted by PaperTRW on Monday, June 24, 2013 7:50 PM

Years ago, Roger Carp did a nice web-only article on some of the CTT promotional items produced over the years. (This can be found here.)

I'm sure that most forumites have seen some of the CTT TCA York Buttons (discussed at the end of Roger's article), but there were also matching CTT stickers made for a majority of York meets.

For each York (starting in April 1994 and ending with October 2011), the CTT folks distributed about 500 buttons. Once the supply was exhausted, they switched to matching stickers until those too ran out.

Unfortunately, the stickers haven't been well-documented, and it's unknown if a matching sticker was made for each and every button. And while most of the buttons were dated, few of the stickers were, which makes keeping track of them a bit difficult.

My CTT button collection is almost complete, and I've turned my curiosity toward the stickers. Anyone out there want to compare notes? I have a bunch of 'em (including a few duplicates) and was wondering what else might be out there.

Thanks!

We didn't do stickers for every button, and we did run a generic (undated) ATSF F3 as a filler.

Bob,

Thanks for the info!

I've stolen, er "borrowed", the photograph from Roger's article, and circled in yellow the buttons for which I have matching stickers.

Anyone else out there have any of the stickers that match these buttons? I'd love to know what's out there.

Thanks!

Todd
