Parts!
Posted by Michael6268 on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 12:33 PM

Looking to purchase some parts.  Mostly Lionel.  Cant really seem to locate a dealer/site online.  Any suggestions for a good dealer?   Lionel Web Site had some but some where listed unavailable.

S & W sent me the parts prior to payment.  They are very quick and honest.  Communication was awesome.  I DO recommend them highly!

I started with Olsens, but now deal with Jeff of The Train Tender for Lionel parts.  For Flyer parts, Doug of Portlines is great.

I have purchased parts from all but one of the parts dealers listed above, and a number of others.
They don't all have the same parts.
There are many more Lionel parts dealers out there.

A web search for "Lionel Parts" should bring back quite a list.

Like Jim,  I use Jeff Kane the most for Lionel and Brasseur for K-Line

I found most of what I was looking for.   Not as easy as I thought.  My head hurts trying to figure out these part #'s and the way the different dealers list them etc.   Im still looking for Lionel 6102713027 - automatic gateman figure, and 6003520016 3 finger drive washer.   Does anyone know if they still/have made these replacement parts.  I was thinking of using the 6 finger washer in place of the 3 finger.  I would think it would work.

Look for a 145-27 gateman (complete) and possibly a 3530-48 washer (6-finger) or a 140-32 three finger. Jeff has the washers, and the arm for the gateman (145-32), and the lantern (145-34)
