I want to thank all of you who have responded to my posts! I have been able to find paint, and I have been able to find rivets and supplies for reattaching after painting. What I am still struggling to find is a place that has stamping for my train cars. I have a link to a picture of one of the cars, but lettering is the same on the other three. The letters appear to be paint stamped (versus decals). Would anyone have a suggestion of who/where I can find rubber stamps for this project?. I have tried Port Lines Hobby Supply, Joe Mania JLM Trains, and a couple of others, but have had no luck. I would like to believe that someone, at some time has successfully restore a Frontenac train set before. Any other suggestions are welcomed. I would like to keep the letters as stamped before considering a slide decal.
There are several companies that make movable-type rubber stamps, like this one:

You might find one with a typeface close enough to your car's, especially since it has a sans-serif gothic-type face.

Olsen's sells some rubber stamps, but more importantly they sell Speedball ink for use with them. Speedball ink is for screen printing and is available at many craft and fabric stores.
