Hello, I have a black with copper and brass trim 392E with a chugger unit. When I opened up the loco to do some repairs, I noticed the chugger unit was not screwed down anywhere, just kind of laying there. Any idea where the chugger unit is to be screw down to?? It is attached to the motor housing or the frame, or someplace else? For now, I have it screw down to the frame and was able to get the shell or boiler back on. It was a tight fit, but went together. Should I leave it the way I put it? Or should it be mounted another way? What is the correct brush and springs for this 392E loco?? Does it use the same brushes and springs used on the postwar 2020 or 671 Turbines with tubular brush holders?? They look similar and seemed to fit just fine, just want to make sure. Thanks and any help will do.
