Hello all,
As my handle says, I'm fairly new to the hobby, but I am hooked (as well as my son). We've been working on it for about a year, and I'm focusing on creating a layout dedicated to the Maine Central (now Pan Am).
However, one of my son's favorite loco's, the Polar Express Berkshire from Lionel's O-Scale Ready to Run kit (Christmas 2011) won't power up/run, and is out of commission. I've done some research on it on the Web, and it seems to be a common problem. However, I really don't know how to fix it. I'm a pretty handy guy, but I'm not quite sure where to begin.
So, I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of any place in the Augusta/Waterville, Maine area (or beyond) that does any model train repair. We'd really like to get it running again.
Thank you for your time.
Sean
Lionel's website has a searchable (by state/area code) data base of dealers and service centers.

Although I can repair most of my locomotives, when I'm really in trouble I use Brasseur Electric Trains in Saginaw, Michigan.
