Hi folks, 2 questions...
1) I operate a large O gauge layout with one line strictly traditional (old ZW with block sections) and a second under an MTH DCC control -- which I love. I have a rather large collection of post war Lionel, but all my modern engines are MTH. I'm looking now at some of the Lionel Vision Line and particularly like the 700e, but am wondering if I will have all the full features available to me if I run the 700e Vision using the MTH DCC control. I hate to invest altogether in yet another operating system like Lionel Legacy.
2) What is your advice on a MTH upper end engine that would be similar to the Lionel 700e Hudson? I particularly like the open spoke drivers, and would be running this with the rail chief passenger set.
Thanks for your advice!
DCS will control all of the TMCC functions, and NONE of the Legacy only functions of all Lionel locomotives.

DCS will operate TMCC but you will need the TMCC or Legacy Base unit to connect to the TIU with the cable by MTH. You will only have TMCC function not Legacy's features. But TMCC will work very nice on the DCS controller.
Thanks

I agree completely with wmwalker, Just to clarify the only Legacy features that are not available are the newest ones that are unique to Legacy. All the basic engine features will work..
