this is my layout. my conrail 1209 legacy egine in the photo below keeps stalling in that section of the track any way to solve this propbem i have the lionel power house 180 watt tpc 400 legacy control system setup
Have you tried rolling a lited car, passenger or caboose, to see if it is a power issue ?
If there is not a power (continuity) issue then it could possibly be a signal issue.

i tried my caboose has no problem with the caboose there where the train stalls if it's signal issue how do i solve that part
i have had problems in the past with TMCC when the tracks are to close side by side. For whatever reason I would lose the signal in a specific area for just some of my TMSS locos, not all of them. I never did resolve the problem. I changed the track configuration.

If you have a signal problem, which is likely from the description, you need a ground wire along side the track to propagate the TMCC signal. Connect a wire to the ground prong of a 3-wire receptacle (make sure it's really grounded to the main feed box) and hide it alongside the track in any problem areas.
The antenna in the TMCC/Legacy locomotive picks up it's difference signal from the earth ground, the other side of the signal is sent along the outside rails from the TMCC/Legacy base.
Another possibility for signal interference is if you used "chicken wire" or something similar as part of the structural element in the mountain adjacent to the track. If you did you could try grounding it to an earth ground.
An easy way to tell if it is a signal issue, assuming Legacey acts the same as TMCC, is to abserve the headlight(s). When a signal disturbance occurrs it will start to flicker, if the signal degradation is sufficient the loco will not recognize it and will drop from command control into conventional operation.
