I have both the D&RG and the Alaskan RR. Very good runners but size wise gigantic for O Gauge. The trackmen are closer to G Gauge than O gauge.

Bill,

Yes they are big dudes in that speeder. Think you could cut the glue under them and replace them with smaller guys?

I only got $22.00 in it so not opposed to doing some modifications on it.

The trackmen should pop off without much trouble. I had one of those guys pop off all by his self.

Yeah Bill,

That is what I thought. Their heads are way up in the cab so I thought a smaller figure might fit okay. The wife thought it was neat so I went ahead and got it for her and then yesterday when it showed up I was freaked at the size of those guys too.

Now the problem is to find replacement figures. Any ideas?

Tks,

Kev.

I would try to locate some trackmen that are on the large size for 1/48 scale. I have picked up at York metal figures that were somewhat larger then the typical Presser or Scenic Express size folks.

Bill,

Guess I will look around. Or just tell everybody the figures are a scale model of Fred Gwynne and his brother from the Munsters.  Laugh
