Is the History Channel International the same one as the History Channel which is the one I have? Or is one some sort of modified version of the other?

The History Channel International is division of the History Channel, like the Travel Channel, A & E, etc.

These programs are repeated quite frequently on History Channel International. I would say almost monthly. If you them this time wait a few weeks and they will be on again.
