What i mean is, are you mentally refreshed and ready to start new construction on your layout? Right now all i'm trying to accomplich is get the facia borders up and the black cloth hung around the bottom of the layout. After that i have a couple of ideas i want to pursue . All in all i am raring to get to the colder weather and the chance to create.
What is on your plate. What new ideas have you come up with?

Bill,

Still having fun laying track, despite busy times. Am perfecting several techniques and experimenting with some new ideas. Like you, having FUN!

Ready to work, I never stopped!

My plans are landscaping, and lots of it. I spent last winter on benchwork and track. Now its time for hills, grass and trees.

crossracer1001, I see you are going to work on facia. Are you installing the facia first and then landscaping, or have you completed the landscaping and are now installing the facia? This will help me, as I need to do both, so a tip on which comes first may be a big help

SInce the edge of my layout is settled, i am installing facia now, then will landscape. I am using inexpensive shelf brackets ffrom home depot. They are the 4'" variety and go for a affordable 50 cents apiece. I am starting at one end, fitting and securing the facia, then moving to the next bracket.

I am starting to lay tracks for my new layout. Have to wait until October to lay in the stations (when my train arrives). I am making them out of plaster (stations) so I don't want to make a station that won't fit my train. Stuck till then. Guess I'll be putting in everything else though.
