Welcome to the forum,

Have you checked out Ready To Roll Trains in north Miami FL?  phone # 305-688-8868 from 11 am to 5 pm, mon. to fri. He handles mainly MTH trains(the largest MTH dealer in southeast FL) and may know where to or who to contact to get a tender for your engine.

What I know about PS-1 and PS-2, you must have the tender in order to use the engine, as the tender has the reverse board & sound board in it. To the best of my knowledge, MTH engines use DC can motors and need the circuit board or a bridge rectifier to keep from burning up the motors.

Dear Sir,

I bought on Ebay the same MTH norfolk&western j#611 without the tender proto sound 1.

I receiver my logo today but it´s not working.

I think the problem is only with tender it will work. Did you find the tender?

Could you help me, informing if your MTH 611 works (run) without a tender.
