Lionel motor
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, July 15, 2004 9:30 PM
Hi,
Where could I find a photo series or illustration of the motor of an 8512 or 8302 Lionel engine? I want to hook it up to a large scale decoder and Soundtraxx decoder.

Thanks.

If this is the same question that you asked in another post I think some people have already answered you. (I'm not sure here) You should give some more details maybe.

Hi Bob,

Both the Lionel 8512 and 8302 are early Fundimensions products. Lionel has the exploded diagrams and parts lists for both these locomotives on their website (www.lionel.com). Pull up the Supplement titled "1-9". You should find both your engines there.
