Aventura Station Layout
Posted by krapug1 on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 1:17 PM

Santa left a new digital camera under the tree, and on a Christmas Week trip to visit my sister in South Florida I took some pics of the Aventura Station layout at the Aventura Mall in North Miami.

Hats off the Ready To Roll Train Store for providing the MTH trains, and an attendant for the layout.

SMART of Miami is the layouts creator.

The layout is on view through January 8.

Nice pix, thanks.  The layout looks more like Wyoming than Florida, though.

Definitly not South Florida, not with those snow capped mountains and skiers. my girlfriend and I check out that layout every year. It measures about 30 x 60 with 9 mainlines on like 7 levels. It's set up from Thanksgiving until the 1st week in March, and there's always a crowd. Not only can you view this at floor level, but you can get a birds eye view from the mezzanine that surrounds it on 3 sides.

No amount of pictures could do that layout justice. One year my girlfriend took videos and it wasn't enough.
