Hello, I now have 4 original 022 switches a signal, crossing and propably more comming, and I have a Z-750 transformer and the problem is that it only has connections for track, I have rigged this to work with some accsessories but the switches need more power, so I am looking into buying a small transformer just for these things, my layout is small 3x6 and I was on ebay and seeing transformers lionel mass produced in the 70s that look good,
how many watts do you think I need, and are there any particular small transformers you reccomend,
these are the ones I am talking about.

thank you all in advance
I'd look for a postwar 1033. They're common as dirt so they don't usually cost much. Another one to keep an eye out for is the R. The R is rated at 100 watts, and has two variable outputs. This might be ideal for your purpose, as you could power the switches with one throttle, and use the other for powering other accessories. I think either of these transformers would be cheap enough to not bother with smaller wattage transformers. Of course if the smaller ones are available and these aren't...
Hope this helps,
