I need to remove and replace several American Flyer link couplers. Is there a tutorial somewhere on-line or does it appear in a service manual.I saw that several companies make a tool such as Super Rivetter to do the job.Any homemade methods that will work,Thanks in advance...........On a degree of difficultly where work this proceedure fall.
Russ,
Removing and replacing link couplers is easy, but you absolutely need the tool to install the pin. Port Lines (www.portlines.com) has the tool available for only $9.50. I use one, and it works great.
