Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum so I thought I would start out by sharing with you a Neon sign that was owned by my late father. It has never been viewed outside his basement Layout / collection which is kind of a crime in itself so I thought someone here might get some enjoyment in viewing it. He spent the majority of his life collecting Lionel and MTH model trains and I grew up learning how to run wires, lay track, put down sand and gravel, and all of the other wonderful labors of completing the next year's Christmas layout. I feel like I am carying on his memory by belonging to forums like this though he probably could not even turn on the laptop that I am using right now even if he was still alive. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks,
I gave to him for Christmas about 8 years ago. It have handmade by one of the finest Neon Benders on the east coast. Ironically he let that occupation briefly to pursue a career with CSX. The frame was taken from a Bud Light sign and then he custome made the plexiglass and vynol features. The neon work itself is fantastic and can really only be appreciated if you see it in person. This is just on of the many things that Dad left behind. He has Engines , houses , track, hundreds of box cars. He truely put his heart into collecting and you could allways tell when the UPS man had been there because he had a strange smerk about him all afternoon.
Super nice neon sign, the guy that made it sure knew what he was doing.

Hello Paul,
Your sign is absolutely fantastic! I've been looking for a long time for something this wonderful for my husband's beloved Lionel collection, to no avail. Should you ever decide to sell, I would be very interested. Feel free to contact me at any time, if your wonderful sign ever needs a new loving home ;-)

knowing you'd probably never want to part with it, perhaps you could contact the builder and see if he won't sell sets of drawings/ plans i'm sure were made up.
