trainyard progress
LOOKS GREAT BIGDOG.

Looking sweet bigdogie, but perilously close to the edge......no margin for error. Yikes! Hope your trains and the floor don't meet. Been there, and it wasn't pretty. Thanks for the photos.

IF IT WON'T COME LOOSE BY TAPPING ON IT, DON'T TRY TO FORCE IT. USE A BIGGER HAMMER.
That's what you'd call a "cliffhanger"
That's surely useing every inch of the wood !!
I agree! always leave at least a couple inches of track clearance and/or some sort of railing to prevent the loco from plunging to the concrete floor with possible dire consequences.Looks like a good layout thus far.

I like watching progress shots. Personally, I liked the straight siding tracks (will lead more easily onto further addition), because it would look more like a BIDS yard. (small Bulk Intermodal Distribution, where trucks pull up to take delivery from railcars.)
(Helpfull hint - it would be easier to watch your progress if you placed everything on one thread.)
