Williams F7 color match for Lionel passenger cars

I am considering buying a set of Williams F7 engines in Great Northern colors to go with my Lionel Great Northern Empire Builder cars. Does anyone know how the the colors and other features will match up?
I have the Williams F7's in Burlington silver and they go great with my Lionel Burlington Zephyr cars. I really like how the Williams engines run and sound.

The best thing you can do is take your cars and visually compare them with Williams F-7s, or find a dealer who will allow you to do this (and if you are not satisfied recieve a full refund upon their return). Color matching is not and exact science; different batches, methods of application, surfaces, etc. all play a part in the "match." Lastly, color is a very subjective and highly personal issue; what "matches" to me may not for you. To avoid problems, do a visual inspection (your cars and the williams diesels side-by-side). Heck, even production from the same manufacturer of the same color scheme don't "match." Now we are dealing with Korean/Chinese manufacturers in different plants using different equipment, different environments, etc. Do a visual, side-by-side comparison and save yourself the pain of disappointment.
