On page 16 of the Target store Sunday supplement is a picture of a boy's room. On the floor is an old Marx train set. Nice touch....

Somebody posted that on the OGR forum. I thought Target was selling Marx reproductions and here it's a prop for some friggen furniture!!

Just out of curiosity, what exactly was the set? We don't have Target stores here in Canada and so I don't have access to see this.

It's a windup commodore vanderbuilt set with 6" tin cars.

Thanks for the info. That's certainly interesting that they used that set for the ad. It's too bad that target doesn't actually sell toy trains.
