Passenger car lighting replacment circut boards.

Purchased some SGL passenger cars this week and several have bad circut boards on the lighting systems. When power is applied they "smoke" and blow the fuses. Is this board easy to find and where can I get one?

What does the board do?

If it is fried right out of the box, maybe another approach is suggested.
