Hi FJ&G:
I have been buying those cars at wally's for some time now. They do list there scale on the bottom. Made by Maisto. They are nicely detailed diecats cars & trucks. The scales do vary a bit from like 1/50 to like 1/35. Some have opening doors and trunks, etc. They are very close to the K-Line cars, but 1/4 the price. They get my seal of approval for quailty and value.

This one was closer to 1/50. Glad you liked too. There was a good selection of cars and trucks from the 70s onward but I'm limiting my purchases to the 1960s and before, to go with my train layout setting. Glad to see at least one other person snoops at Wally world.

I'm very impatient and when I got home, I used my tin snips to disengage the car from its carrying case. I don't advise anyone else to do this, however. :-)
