Colber Water Tower
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 12:38 PM

I am looking for a picture of the top of the Colber Water Tower that is gray plastic with the gray top and red platform.  Mine has the Colberville decal on it.  I am trying to figure out if there is a lens that goes in the top of it.  There is a hole there but not sure what goes there.  Any help is appreciated.  I think the tower number is 772 or 769 but I'm not real sure about that...kinda new to this!

 Thanks in Advance

There's a little red button that goes in the top. Looks like an odd-shaped, small M&M. It is easily lost. Mine has been gone for years. Tower works fine without it. I am certain replacements are available, though.

Thanks for your help RaleighTrainFan !  Do you have any idea of the part # or anything like that on it.  I can check portlines to see if they have it.  If not, thanks again for all your help!

I'm renewing the call for a part number for the little red M&M!

Also, I need to replace the bulb that works the bubbling tube. The one that came out of it has a screw base and an unusual squared-off shape to the top of the globe. It has "Matchless" and "15v" printed on the base. Any ideas?

Many thanks.

I believe Port Line Hobbies has a replacement top plug.  I picked mine up at York and forgot who I got it from.  Any 14V or 18V bulb will work in the tower.  The higher voltage ones normally last longer.  Radio shack or port line hobbies carries bulbs.
