Well, there I wuz; tryin to put the finishing touches on the oldest and probably the firstest of a LIONEL type Z transformer. I thought I had seem 'em all but thisn has smoothe control shafts, thereby requiring set-screw knobs! Not a problem with the two smaller ones but I havn't been able to find-locate-acquire any set-screw equipted large knobs. All the biggies are configured to hold onto a splined shaft and thusly do not properly grasp these non-splined shafts! Eee-ghadz! Whuts person to do?
