Archived Forum Topics

I have noticed recently, when searching the site for topics, that I can pull up old forum topics that no longer appear in the discussion list. Apparently, these topics are still stored here but are not specifically listed anywhere. As a test, I searched on several topics that were discussed last January and I could retreive it.

Can anyone provide any further details on how the old topics are being archived. I would think that a lot of the old topics would be of use to others in the future.

At least 13 years, 4 months back in the current format.

Here is a post that many times I have referred back to for new posters who have a question about MTH Switches.

Many of us who have been on the forum for several years have seen the same question over and over.  (I'm not saying that is bad.)  If we can remember a discussion, many times we can find the original posting.
