Bachmann engines info?
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 4:54 PM

I came across a few HO engines that I can't seem to find any information on. They are both made by bachmann.  One has the number 768 on it and the tender says texas & pacific.  It is a pretty big HO engine, about 9 1/2 inches long. The tender is about 7 in long and there is a caboose.  It lights up and runs.  It says it was made in Hong Kong and I think it is fairly old.  The other has the number 2528 on it and the tender says Union Pacific. It is about 7 in long and the tender is 6in.  It also says it is made in hong kong. Does anyone know anything about these engines? Thanks

Someone here might know; but your chances are much better on the Model Railroader Magazine forum.

If they say HONG KONG, I really doubt they are very old.  I would guess less than 25 years.
