Old Model Railroading Magazines
Posted by pastime on Sunday, August 26, 2007 10:55 AM
I was given recently old  issues of The Model Builder published by The Lionel Corp..  They are from 1937 thru 1943 and 1945 thru 1948.  They are in good condition.  Does anyone have an idea of value.  Not looking to sell, value to add to collection insurance.  Thank you

If the covers are intact, no torn pages, no missing pages, and no writing, probably about $10 - 15 each.  If they do have any of these problems, probably about $5 each.

These are great old magazines.  The layouts shown have a certain charm about them, and the Frank Ellison articles themselves are worth the price.

I think you'll enjoy reading these.
