Lionel Piggyback Photos
Posted by highrailjon on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 10:07 AM

My first "piggybacks" arrived from Legacy Station the other day! These are some of the nicest detailed car I've ever seen by Lionel. Complete with diecast flatcar, real wood deck, operating diecast ramps, collapsing trailer stands.

Actually, the nurse hasn't given me my meds yet, therefore I just couldn't resist!

By the way, sweet photos!

I picked up the NYC Pacemaker car yesterday at Sommerfelds and may go back for the REA. Nice cars, indeed.

Nice pictures Jon.  I just got an email from a LHS letting me know there is a set of 3 Lackawannas for me to pick up.  Glad to hear they are nice.

I have a Chicago & North Western. It is a great model.

Waiting to see if LIONEL will produce Minneapolis & St. Louis or Soo Line PS-4 Flat Cars with Trailers.

I've seen several of those at my local train shop. They really are beautiful.

Great photos, enjoy!

Beware, I know one guy who is so hooked on them that he's tracking down all of the sets, including the third member to the 2 pack. Can cost you $$$ then there'd be no more $$ for the wife to buy the beer.

D

But I don't know if the meds work..

Those flatcars really are nice. Also the trailers look terrific. I keep them in mind, the amount of freight cars needs to be enlarged a bit and one shop in germany also sells those flatcars...
