Train Table Casters
Posted by envfocus on Sunday, August 19, 2007 1:25 PM

I've seen many ideas and I thought I'd share what I found and will be using.  I am using a pair of appliance casters.  They are adjustable, low profile solid casters that can handle up to 2,000 pounds each!  Anyway, I found them at Lowe's and they are about $10 a pair.  I can move my table with one hand.  Simple and didn't break the bank.

Very interesting!  Love those legs, are they from a picnic table set or something?  The layout looks great and can't wait to see it done!

Jim:  Thanks for the compliment.  The legs I got at Menards (a regional big box home improvement store), but I know they are available at Lowe's.  They are for a picnic table.  They are a bit spendy ($30/pair), but it saved me a ton of time and effort designing legs with casters.  Here is the website link for the manufacturer.
