My dog, Molly, is generally ambivalent to my layout. She sleeps during most of my operating sessions. However, when I fire up the #397 coal loader, she goes ballistic, barking at everything on the layout. I suspect she doesn't like the snapping of the coal trey. She obviously has no interest in the nostalgia of the #397.
Molly adds a lot to the enjoyment of this hobby and is my constant companion. Every layout should have a pooch.

Heres my train dog, he hates the Lionel sitch tower on fire accessory due to the clicking
my southern hound generally likes to eat her grits by the tracks
Dave, that might be considered animal cruelty around these parts.
