Thanks,

not really off topic as it seems related to Thomas the Tank thing in that there's lead.
haven't seen a food recall yet; wish they'd label where that came from, makes me wonder when I eat shrimp
Kurt,
Most of us can appreciate the news of the recall on toys because most of us have children of some kind, our own children or grandchildren or stepchildren or neices or nephews.
Thank you for sharing this item, I passed it on to a freind in Georga by email.

Hello guys.
As a person who has worked as a Store Manager for the largest toy retailer for the last 10 years I can tell you that this recall is going to have some seriuos repercussions in the toy business. The quality of the Toys that have come out of China has been rapidly declining over the last 10 years. Quality inspection is an added cost that these big retail companies dont really want to deal with due to the fact that if consumers return broken /defective toys the manufacturers will give them credit for it,therefore they dont really lose the sale.I think that it is criminal that these large retailers are putting our children at risk becasue they are not doing there due dilligence to protect the consumers.Mattel will lose millions on this and they should be held accountable but they arent the only ones that should lose! The retail companys need to as well. Please remember this when your doing your holiday shopping.
