I'm trying to get DSL but they don't respond to my emails. I'm paying $85 per month for hi speed internet; no tv included or anything and I heard DSL rates are lower
Kinda busy today but invented a new style of tubular track; will try posting photos next Sunday. The tract conducts electric and doesn't rust (I think), made from metal used to protect corner sheet rock. For about $10 you can make probably 200 feet of rail and it's more scale than Lionel tubular size wize. I might make some for outdoor rR

I guess I'm lucky Internet Cable here is $43, but when you add in TV and premium channels etc. it gets up there pretty fast.

Most of the time our DSL is outstanding. Just every once in a while it acts up. Basic DSL is $19.95 and extra high speed is $24.95 plus your phone line. We have the faster one. It must be all the compatition in the area, Cable, wireless, etc.

It is with great sadness that I report a serious incident. There was a major collision at the junction. As a result of the collision there were two fatalities, their famalies have been notified so I can at this time release their names. The fatalities at the scene were a Mr. Al I. Gator and Mr Pepe Le Pew, the later not being discovered until the hobos moved their walkway to their campsite.
As a result of the investigation by the Accident Investigation Team the cause of the accident was determined to be operator error and a warrant was issued for the individual. Thanks to a vigilant citizen the perpetrator was caught and the photo of his capture indicates the character of the individual involved.

...and here were 2 of the inhabitants of "Bikini Bottom". My little heartbreakers. The boys were circling like flies all week!!!

Fife, you should make a sand sculpture business. Fantastic job. I remember a few years back in Avalon, where I stay, a guy made a Ferrari F40. It was pretty nice.

Oh, and Fife as a father of a two year old daughter, I am definitely seeing the benefits of the burkha.
If I can't get her to wear one of these then I'm gonna have to figure out how to get her into a Methodist convent.
But then if neither of those two things work there's always the old fashioned approach.

The Mossberg is more for keeping the varmits away. They only show up at weddings when absolutely necessary.

I like the Mossberg because it has the mid-barrel sight, which wasn't available on the entry level Remington. Plus I got a chance to fire an identical Mossberg while skeet shooting and I really liked the way it handled. The only problem I have is that the aftermarket Mossberg barells are all camo patterned and cost 1/2 as much as the shotgun itself, but other than that I really like it.
Plus when chasing off varmits (racoons, possom, boys etc) it works pretty well.

I get DSL from Bellsouth for only $24.95 a month, $85.00 a month is more like a Felony being committed by the internet provider. Used to have AOL but they kept double billing me so I threatened to take them to court if they didn't drop me, no court as they dropped like a hot potato.

Looks like you are trying to model the Pennsylvania Railroad with that signal light set-up, have seen that style in vidoes of the Pennsy and at the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum in Strasburg PA three years ago.
I am trying to model some of the Reading Railroad equipment as far as locomotives go and rolling stock, a few exceptions are a couple of Pennsy diesels and a Santa Fe passenger set. Not that caring about what brand of trains I run, have Lionel, MTH, Williams and some Weaver cars, the Weavers are mainly shelf items.

Dave, you can usually check online to see if DSL is available in your area. It's not available in all areas and I know some densely populated areas where it isn't. It could be they're not returning your calls because it's unavailable. I can get it, but I'm limited to the slowest available speed (384K down, 128K up). My neighborhood was built in the early 1960s, so I guess it still has the original wiring and can't support the higher speeds.
There are also some wireless Internet options available now. I know Verizon offers it and there may be others doing it. You're looking at $50 a month for that. Generally they provide a PCMCIA card for a laptop, so I don't know if they have an equivalent device for desktop PCs or not. The downside to this approach is it's much harder to share your Internet connection if you have more than one computer.
88 - Unfortunately, my beautiful creation did not last long. There were these 2 little that were eyeballing it all morning and afternoon. Their dad was that big fat greasy hairy-backed (the kind you pray doesn't take his shirt off at the ballgame...but always does) and the mom was all of 200 lbs with a fine looking tattoo on her one calf (really sexy). When it was time to pack up, I actually made it to the boardwalk before they started mashing it down with their boogie boards...Oh well.
Chief - scaling my back fence is bad advice; next you'd have to scale the pirate ship .
Oh, and I'm not much of a Remington man...LOUISVILLE SLUGGER is my pest control of choice.
