Hello All!  Fred the Lionel Repairman would call Lenny every now & then for tips & tricks on how to better service Berkshires to eliminate the clanking sound that the Rods made( Fred now works for Stewarts in Willoughby,He started at the old Jaye & Jaye Train shop in E.Cleveland over 35 years ago) & said that Lenny was very helpful indeed as he was in charge of Lionel's Old Service Dept in Hillside,NJ from about 1965 until it was moved to Michigan in 1979. Nine years after General Mills took over Lionel. And Lenny was also instrumental in the General Mills buyout of Lionel at that particular time in history. Many probably never knew this either. Best wishes for Lenny's Family here. Take Care all.

Lenny was only 81 years old. Too bad he could not have been around for another 20 years.
