ALL:
Another "Rescue 8" has Wes and Skip going to a scrap yard that has a lot of car bodies from presumably LA street cars. A man looking for change under the seats get stuck and needs to be rescued. It is interesting to see Wes and Skip using a crowbar and rope to rescue the man.
"Emergency" was the best rescue show in TV history. They had excellent writers. If my memory serves my correctly, the California Legislature authorized the formation of the paramedic service, which is used today.

That episode was discussed recently on another thread. The story was that a bank robber stashed the money on an LATL streetcar, got caught and went to prison. His wife was trying to get the money, asked him where he stashed it - he was unaware that the streetcar line was removed after he entered prison. The wife and her friend traced the car to a scrapyard and got stuck.
Remember seeing the opening to this episode sometime in the early 1960's.
