We are supposed to be in the thralls of the NHL hockey playoffs, mid way through. The first round is over and nearing end of the second with  Eastern and Western Finals upcoming and then on to Lord Stanley's treasured Cup. A spring ritual, modern day gladiators, the hardest trophy to win in all of sports , ...and so forth.

Alas, mired in Coronacopia it is not to be. Damn and Blast!

In it's place I hereby present to you : Tales of Hockey Players and the Railroad!!  ... ( required reading for Canadians, Americans it is optional but please browse through, Australians are exempt unless you too are sports starved or simply luv railroads)

Frank Sinatra in the Forum??  Blasphemous!!

Well, there were many instances of that more-Gallically-favored American cultural icon Jerry Lewis playing the Forum in the 1970s; perhaps Vince/Mike can pull up some photos...

This very, very different from Forum appearances by Jerry Lee Lewis, which had little to do with French culture aside from cousine d'amour or whatever -- but I'll bet raised the roof!

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

No not this Forum. Not Classic, not Trains

The one in Montreal where the Habs play .. you know home of Les Canadiens.

... and here comes Frank Sinatra... plenty of streetcar tracks and one rumbling by on the cobblestone in the background.

.... and those stoplights, lower left, like yesterday!

Also lets not forget Trans Canada Airlines! I sure haven't.
