Can anyone help identifying this steam engine?
Posted by photohunter on Friday, February 28, 2020 10:57 AM

Hello.

A friend, originally from Kansas City, is clearing out his mother's house and found this photo.

Just out of curiousity, can anyone help identify this steam engine? No 44 on front, seems to say 2223 on the plaque, I can see Pittsburg on the side and No 14 on the carriage.

This is just out of curiousity.

Thanks.

R.

I get 404 file not found when I click on the photo.  Maybe someone else will have better luck.

I suspect Mr. photohunter is no longer looking in.

Of course we cannot help with the identification if we cannot see the picture.

So I suppose it's my turn to do the 'splainin'.

Mr. Photohunter if you are still around you need to upload the photo to the Internet. I use Imgur, it's free and easy to use and a fun site to boot. So they will download your photo file upon joining,..and then select the photo. It will then upload it to the internet. Then select copy.

Come back to the thread,  and when you hit paste the Kalmbach prompt will come up for the image. Select ok and voila there is the picture on your thread.

(Probably talking to no one there anymore anyway.)

Then someone here almost certainly could identify the locomotive.
