Ground cover material

In a recent issue of model railroader there was an article on concocting a ground cover mixture, of fermiculite, dirt, plaster and glue. Can anyone remember who this modeler was or what the quantities of material were. Thanks in advance for any help.

CNalways welcome to the Forums. You should try your question on the Model Railroader Layout and Layout Building Forum. The Classic Trains Forum is about real railroads and trains.
