i'm looking for where this unit exactly is in SD. I know it's a hulk, but are there any pictures of it?

Search for Dakota Southern Railway. The Centennial #6925 is displayed at Chamberlain, SD.

The orginal idea was to use the unit for fuel storage for the Dakota Southern RR, At least that was the rumor about 20 years ago CNW FOREVER

I really doubt that since it's a historic unit. Besides, it's still got it's insides.
