Texas Zephyr
Posted by newsmac on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 9:29 PM

Hello:

I'm a big Texas Zephyr fan. Anyone know where the Texas Zephyr stopped in Trinidad, Colorado.

Was it the station Amtrak's Southwest Chief uses today.

Also, anyone know who might have photos of the Texas Zephyr in Trinidad or Walsenburg, Colorado? I'd appreciate the help.

Thanks

This is from memory, but I think the FWD station was a couple of blocks from the ATSF station in Trinidad.  I went through there about 25 years ago, and I seem to recall seeing it, east of the ATSF with the lines crossing north of the ATSF depot.    Unless something has changed, the Chief uses ATSF.

BTW, welcome to the forums!
